My multiple motorbike injuries are 35 years old: caused by being flung from my bike through a windscreen and exacerbated by a lack of appropriate treatment. Ageing had caused these injuries to have a growing impact on my mobility; more recent injuries had been slow to show improvement because my body's self-healing capacity seemed to have reached its limit due to the previous trauma. Prior to treatment, my body was immensely fragile and I was feeling a chronic and limiting pain throughout my musculo-skeletal area; gradually these long term and static injuries are being unravelled by sessions which are very much a two-way communication process. Remedial Massage consistently reduces pain and improves physical mobility for me. I have had referrals for physiotherapy and pain rehabilitation, neither of which have worked in the long-term. I can now say that I am now leading a far more normal life, taking pain killers only intermittently and feel back in control of my body.
