REBIRTHING BOOK CONTENTS

1. Awareness of current belief (this is covered in the next chapter).

2. A ‘shopping list’ for what we now want.

3. Affirmations to assure us that we can do it - a response column to find our resistances (see appendix).

4. “Cutting the ties” process if the change involves separation from someone we depend on for our image of self and forgiving them (see bibliography).

5. Circular breathing at any time of stress in the process.

6. Acknowledgement of ourselves as powerful beings able to create changes.

Because of the fashions of child-rearing in the recent past, the best way to feed your baby (and perhaps form its character by whatever method chosen) became an issue decided by the expert of the day. The reality for many adults today is that eating is not associated with simple pleasure; it becomes complicated by our beliefs and past experiences. This is an example of how our past creates our present reality. (People worry about eating too much, being greedy or selfish, they believe they will have to pay for their enjoyment one way (getting fat?) or another. They forget that we eat to live and we are in a state of abundance.)
